Prawns Macaroni

              Hi all, here is a simple and easy recipe of prawns macaroni… I know this is not a new or innovative dish but yes, this is something that we make for almost all the occasions. Prawns are seosonal sea food over here and luckily i got this big prawns to show off… I’ve reserved some for prawns biriyani as well… So let’s get started with the procedure…

 Ingredients

Prawns    –    500 gms
Red chilli powder    –    1-1 ½  tbsp (approx)
Red food colour (optional)    –    a pinch
Macaroni    –    500 gms
Onion    –    4, chopped
Tomatoes    –    2 , chopped
Garlic paste    –    1 tbsp
Ginger paste    –    1 tbsp
Green chillies    –    3 chopped
Salt – to taste
Oil – for frying prawns
Coriander leaves – for garnishing

Method

Make a paste of red chilli powder and food colour. Mix in cleaned prawns. Fry the prawns and keep aside. 
Next, take a large pot. Fill 3/4th of the pot with water. Add pasta, a tablespoon of oil and salt as per requirement and cook for about 8-10 minutes… do not overcook.
Now, take another vessel… Heat oil in it. Add chopped onions and cook till it becomes translucent.
Add ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chillies.. Sauté till there is no raw smell.
Next add finely chopped tomatoes and cook till it becomes soft.
Turn the heat to medium high.
Add fried prawns and cooked pasta. Mix well.
Finally add coriander leaves and give a mix and you’re done.
Delicious PRAWNS MACARONI is ready to be served.
